Eisteddfod yr Urdd

 

Yr wythnos hon mae nifer o ein disgyblion wedi bod yn cystadlu yn Eistedddfod Cylch yr Urdd.

Llongyfarchiadau i Ellis, Maisie, Lily-May, Neveah a Evelyn am eu perffomiadau gwych.

 

Da iawn hefyd i ein grwp dawns hip-hop Ellie, Niya, Harry, Evelyn a Levi am eu perfformiad gwych.

 

ESTYN Inspection

 

Cwblhaodd ESTYN eu harolwg o’r ysgol wythnosyma. Bydd adroddiad llawn yn cael ei gyhoeddi ar Fai 9ed.

 

Rhaid canmol ein disgyblion am eu gwaith called ac ymddygiad gwych yn ystod yr arolwg. Nododd pob un o’r tim arolygu faint mor gwrtais a pharchus oedd ein disgyblion.

 

Diwrnod y Llyfr

 

Da iawn pawb am eu hymdrech arbennig i greu gwisgoedd ar gyfer Diwrnod y Llyfr. Roedd yr ysgol yn for o liw a phawb yn edrych yn wych.

Dear Parent / Guardian,

 

Eisteddfod yr Urdd

 

This week a number of our pupils have competed in the Area Round of the Urdd Eisteddfod.

A huge well done to Ellis, Maisie, Lily-May, Neveah and Evelyn for their fantastic performances on Saturday.

Also, well done to our hip-hop dance group Ellie, Elizabeth, Levi, Harry and Niya for their fantastic performance.

 

ESTYN Inspection

 

ESTYN have now completed their inspection of the school. They will now consider their opinions and write a detailed report. The report will be published on May 9th.

 

A big thank you to all families for their support during the week.

 

One comment all inspectors made about the school was how polite and kind our pupils were.

 

World Book Day

 

A big thank you to families, pupils and staff who dressed up for Red Nose Day. The pupils looked absolutely fantastic.

 

We held a parade and prizes were give to the best costume in each class.

 



 



 

Red Nose Day

 

Next Friday is Red Nose Day. Pupils can wear informal clothing to school. Pupils can wear red noses or Red Nose Day merchandise if they choose.

In class pupils will be having a joke telling competition with the finalists from each class competing against each other.

 

Families who would like to contribute can do so by visiting;

 

 

Miss Lloyd

 

On Thursday we said goodbye to Miss Lloyd. Miss Lloyd has supported in classes and covered for teachers’ planning time since the start of the school year. We wish Miss Lloyd well as she begins her nursing training next week.
