Ffonau Symudol

Ni chaniaterir ffonau symudol yn yr ysgol.

O dan rhai amgylchiadau arbennig byddwn yn caniatau i ddisgyblion ddod a’u ffon i’r ysgol a’i adael yn y swyddfa am y dydd. Er enghraifft o syw disgybl yn symud rhwng tai mam a dad yn ystod yr wythnos.

Dim ond o dan amgylchiadau arbennig y byddwn yn caniatau gywliau yn ystod y tymor.

Os y credwch fod amgylchiadau arbennig yng nghylch gwyliau, cysylltwch a’r ysgol i drafod ymhellach.

Mae’n bosib i’r ysgol geisio am Daliad Cosb Penodol os yw disgyblion yn colli dyddiau ysgol heb iddynt gael eu hawdurdodi.

PE Lessons

Here are PE days for each class;

Cyw                 Friday

Seren               Thursday

Sbarc               Thursday

Branwen          Wednesday (Year 3 PE/Year 4 Swimming)

Gwenllian       Wednesday (Year 4 Swimming/Year 5 PE)

Llywelyn         Friday

On PE days pupils should come in to school in their PE kits.

PE kit is dark shorts, plain t-shirt and trainers. Leggings and track-suit bottoms are also acceptable as the weather gets colder.

Mobile Phones

Pupils should not be bringing mobile phones into school.

Under a small number of circumstances e.g. pupils going straight from school to grandparents’ house for the weekend or pupils who move between Mum and dad’s houses during the week we are happy for pupils to leave their phone in the office on arrival and collect at going home time.

There is no need for any pupils to bring phones in daily or for use on the school bus.

Term Time Holidays

We will only authorise term time holidays due to exceptional circumstances.

If there are exceptional circumstances for a term time holiday please contact the school. Last minute deals and family weddings are not considered exceptional circumstances.

In certain cases, the school may request a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) if pupils are absent from school without authorisation. Please note this would only happen in cases where the school has already engaged with families to improve attendance.

Good general attendance does not guarantee permission for a term time holiday but it is a factor that will be considered.

Sickness Absence

If your child(ren) is/are absent from school due to sickness you should contact the school to inform us.

The easiest way of doing this is by using the form in the Schoop App. You can also phone the school. Please don’t use Class Dojo to report sickness absences.

If you have changed phone numbers or email address during the summer can you please inform the office so that our records are up-to-date.

Torfhwyl

On Saturday there is a fun, Welsh language event being held in Cwmbran. The event is called Torfhwyl.

There will be lots of music, games and fun activities for the whole family.
