Bydd yr ysgol yn ail-agor i ein holl ddisgyblion ar Ionawr 6ed.

Cyngerdd Nadolig

Bydd ein cyngerdd Nadolig yn cael ei gynnal ar Ragfyr y 17eg yn Neuadd y Gweithwyr , Blaenafon.

Byddwn yn teithio ar fysiau i Flaenafon ac yn treulio y bore yn ymarfer.

Os hoffai teuluoedd o’r dre fynd yn syth i’r Neuadd bydd staff yno i’w cyfarfod am 9 00.

Bydd disgyblion angen brechdanau ar y dydd. Gall pecynnau bwyd gael eu archebu o’r ysgol gan ddefnyddio y llythyron sydd eisioes wedi dod adref.

Ar ddiwedd y cyngerdd bydd angen i rieni gasglu eu plant o Neuadd y gweithwyr.

Mae tocynnau ar werth o’r ysgol am £3 yr un.

Ffair Nadolig

Byddwn yn cynnal ein Ffair Nadolig ar ddydd Iau, Rhagfyr 12ed.

Hefyd byddwn yn casglu hen degannau ar gyfer eu rho ii elusen. Os oes gennych degannau nad ydych y neu defnyddio byddem yn gwerthfawrogi yn fawr. Byddwn yn rhoi y tegannau i Hospice of the Valleys ym Mlaenafon.

Important Times and Dates

The next two weeks are very busy in school. Here is a diary of what is on every day.

Term will start for all pupils in January on Monday, January 6th.

We have two training days left this school year, dates to be confirmed shortly.

Christmas Concert

Our Christmas Concerts will be held on December 17th at the Workmen’s Hall, Blaenafon.

On the day we will transport pupils by coach to Blaenafon in the morning. We will then spend the morning practising at the Hall.

If families from Blaenafon would prefer to drop their children directly at the Workmen’s Hall, we will have staff there from 9 00.

All pupils will need a packed lunch on this day. Packed lunches can be ordered form school using a form that your child(ren) will bring home soon. This will need to be ordered by the 13th of December.

At the end of the concert all families will need to collect children from the Workmen’s Hall. We will do this safely and one class at a time.

Costumes

Teachers have informed families of any costumes necessary. Garnsychan Partnership run a costume hire scheme where children’s costumes can be hired for £2.

This is also available for other events such as World Book Day.

Christmas Fayre

Our Christmas Fayre will be held on Thursday, December 12th – 4 00 – 5 30.

We will have stalls selling goods made by pupils

Santa’s Grotto

Cake sale

If you have any donations for the raffle or a cake to donate for the cake sale, please send them to school next week.

We will also be collecting pre-loved toys to donate to Hospice of the Valleys in Blaenafon. Each class will have a box to collect toys for different age groups. Please bring any used toys you no longer need, and would like to donate, with you to the fayre.

Entry to the fayre will be free, but there will be a cost to see Santa (to cover his travel expenses from the North Pole!).

Tickets

Tickets are on sale form the school and cost £3 each.

Please send cash to school, clearly stating your name and which show you would like tickets for. Currently tickets are restricted to two per family, per show.

A big congratulations to Mr Lucas following his successful appearance on The Chase this week.
