Co-vid 19

Annwyl rieni,

Rydym wedi derbyn gwybodaeth  fod tiwtor a ymwelodd a’r ysgol ddoe yn dangos arwyddion o’r feirws co-vid 19.

Ni wnaeth y tiwtor weithio ag unrhyw ddisgyblion ond bu yn yr adeilad am oddeutu dwy awry n gweithio gyda oedolion.

Rydw i wedi cysylltu a’r AALl am gyngor ac eu cyngor yw i ddilyn y cyfarwyddiadau yn y llythyr a ddanfonwyd dydd Gwener. Dylai pawb olchi eu dwylo yn ofalus ac os yw unrhywun yn dangos symptomau i hunan-ynysu am 7 diwrnod

Dear parents,

We have been informed that a tutor who visited the school on Thursday has developed symptoms of covid-19 and is self-isolating.

This tutor didn’t work with any pupils but was at the school for approximately 2 hours on Thursday giving Welsh lessons to adults.

I have contacted Torfaen LA for advice and have been told to follow the procedure in the letter shared with parents on Friday. Everyone should wash their hand thoroughly and anyone showing symptoms i.e. a persistent cough or high temperature shouls self-isolate.

As a result of this we have taken the decision to cancel tonight’s parents evening.

We will conduct consultations by phone instead. Details of how we are going to do this will be shared during the day.
