Mae flin iawn gen i ddweud y byddwn yn colli Mrs. Price ar ol hanner tymor. Mae hi eisiau arafu lawr tipyn a chael swydd rhan amser gyda Menter Iaith Torfaen yn lle. Fel Pennaeth rydw i’n parchu ac yn deall penderfyniad Mrs. Price yn gyfangwbl. Mae Mrs. Price wedi bod yn aelod hollol ffantastig o dim Ysgol Bryn Onnen bron ers i’r ysgol gael ei sefydlu. Mae wedi gweithio’n ddiwyd gyda nifer o ddisgyblion dros nifer o flynyddoedd ac mae ei hymadawiad hi’n golled aruthrol i’r ysgol. Yn ddiweddar mae Mrs. Price wedi gweithio ar greu draig allan o deiars ger gardd yr ysgol ar gyfer y disgyblion. Diwrnod olaf Mrs. Price fydd dydd Gwener y 10fed o Fehefin 2016. Hoffwn ffarwelio gyda Mrs. Price trwy gael parti gardd neu de prynhawn gyda disgyblion yr ysgol ar ddydd Mercher yr 8fed o Fehefin. Fe fydd y parti / te prynhawn yn dechrau am 1.30 y.p ac mae croeso mawr i reini ddod mewn i fod yn rhan o’r prynhawn. I’r achos yma caiff y plant ddod a phlat o fwyd mewn i’r ysgol y diwrnod hwnnw.Bydd angen plat papur wedi’i labelu ar y disgyblion a bydd angen gorchuddio’r plat gyda ffoil neu Cling Film. Ni fydd modd i ni storio bwyddydd mewn oergell felly peidiwch a chynnwys bwydydd sydd yn pydru’n gyflym ar y plat. Beth am syniadau fel bisgedi, creision, siocledi, selsig, brechdan ayb? NI CHANIATEIR UNRHYW GYNNYRCH GYDA CHNAU YNDDYN NHW YN YR YSGOL HON. Fe fydd yr wythnos hon yn un trist iawn i’r ysgol ond hoffwn anfon Mrs. Price ar ei ffordd gyda atgofion melys yn ystod ei hwythnos olaf. Diolch yn fawr iawn am eich cefnogaeth.

I am very sorry to have to inform you that we will be losing the services of Mrs. Price after half term. After a hectic few years Mrs. Price wants to slow things down from now on. This is very understandable and she has taken on a part time post with Menter Iaith Torfaen. As a headteacher I completely respect and understand Mrs. Price’s decision. Mrs. Price has been a fantastic staff member at Ysgol Bryn Onnen almost from day one of its inception. She has worked meticulously are tirelessly for generations of children over many years and her leaving is a major loss for Ysgol Bryn Onnen. Only recently Mrs Price has created a red dragon out of tires in the school garden for our pupils. She is truly amazing. Mrs. Price’s last day will be Friday the 10th of June. We would like to say goodbye and good luck to Mrs. Price by having a garden party or afternoon tea on the school field on Wednesday the 8th of June. This will start at 1.30 p.m. and parents / guardians / family members are welcome to come in and be a part of this event. Please use the side gate and NOT the main entrance. To this purpose children came bring a plate of food with them into school on the day. Please bring food in on a paper plate clearly labelled with your child’s name. The plate should be covered in foil or Cling Film. We will not be able to store these plates in a fridge so please make sure there are no perishables on the plate. Ideas might include a sandwich, biscuits, crisps, a chocolate bar, cocktail sausages etc. PLEASE NOTE THAT NUTS OR NUT BASED PRODUCTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. This particular week will be a very sad one for Ysgol Bryn Onnen but we want to send Mrs. Price on her way with precious memories of her last week at the school.
