This week’s language pattern is “Doeddwn i ddim ….” “I wasn’t”. The common mistake pupils make is to say “Roedd i ddim”.
This week’s band of the week is Frisbee.
Toast money
Currently schools have been advised not to collect money from parents. One of the negative effects of this is we haven’t been able to fund toast for the Foundation Phase.
The PTA have set up a PayPal payment system (no PayPal account needed) to enable the school to collect toast money.
We suggest a contribution of 20p per day (£1 per week) as in the good old days when we could collect toast money.
We estimate the cost for all 4 classes for the rest of the term will be about £300. We will cap the fund at this amount so that the money is only used to purchase the bread and butter needed.
This will start from Monday.
If this works we will introduce a similar system to bring back the fruit tuck shop after half term.
Spanish Day
Remember we are having our Spanish Day on Monday. Children can wear yellow or/and red to come to school.
Training Day
Please be aware Friday, October 23rd is a training day. The school will not be open to pupils.
Mwynhewch y penwythnos.
Enjoy the weekend!
Yr eiddoch yn gywir / Yours sincerely,
Mr. Rh ap Gwyn
Pennaeth / Headteacher
