Ffrindiau Bryn Onnen

Cafodd Ffrindiau Bryn Onnen eu cyfarfod cyntaf nos Fercher. Maent yn ceisio canfod ffyrdd o gynnal gweithgareddau a chodi arian o fewn y cyfyngiadau presenol.

Pob blwyddyn bydd yr ysgol yn cynnal sioe tan gwyllt. Ni fydd modd gwneud hynnu eleni. Yn lle byddwn yn cynnal cysatdleuaeth celf ar gyfer y disgyblion.

Yn ystod hanner tymor bydd Ffrindiau Bryn Onnen yn cynnal cysatdleuaeth dalent ar-lein. Mae croeso i’r holl deulu ymuno. Bydd manylion yn ymddangos ae dudalen Facebook Ffrindiau Bryn Onnen.

Penblwyddi

Ar hyn o bryd mae hi’n anodd i ddisgyblion ddathlu eu penblwyddi. I godi claonau disgyblion ychydig byddwn yn caniatau i blant sydd yn dathlu eu penblwydd i wisgo mufti ar ddiwrnod eu penblwydd. Os yw penblwydd eich plentyn ar y penwythnos gallant wosgo mufti ar ddydd Gwener.

Class of the week

Nursery

Nursery Class have been very busy this week. They have painted painting like Van Gogh, enjoyed yoga sessions and been on a nature walk looking for signs of autumn.

Well done Miss Penn, Mrs Williams and Nursery Class.

Friends of Bryn Onnen PTA

Friends of Bryn Onnen had their first meeting of the year on Wednesday. They are looking at ways of arranging events and raising money whilst conforming to the Covid restrictions currently in place.

Usually at this time of year the school has a fabulous fireworks night. This year we won’t be able to do that. Instead the PTA are running an art competition for the children to create a piece of art work for Guy Fawkes Night.

Also the PTA are arranging a virtual talent contest. Over half term we would like families to record videos of them demonstrating their talent. It could be musical, sporting or any other. The whole family can get involved, not just the children.

Birthdays

Children are missing out on a lot of things at the moment and one of those is to be able to celebrate their birthdays with parties and bringing cake to school to share with friends. In order to make pupils feel a little more special on their birthdays we will be allowing children celebrating their birthday to wear “mufti” clothing to school. If your child’s birthday is at the weekend they can wear mufti on the Friday.
