13.7.12 Sports Day Cancelled
Dear Parent / Guardian,
We have no option but to cancel sports day on 13.7.2012 due to poor weather the afternoon / night before. Our school pitch is not in a fit state for running and as people know, its drainage properties are poor. I have to make an early call because Nursery were due to begin their races at 9.30 a.m. The pitch is in such a state [ as you can see from the pictures] that any races will result in further churning which will lead to accidents happening. Sports Day has to be safe and pleasurable for pupils and parents and currently, our field will not allow this to be the case. I am very sorry for any inconvenience that this decision may cause.
